upload video files with php

few days ago i have searched from google , how to upload video file from any format and convert it into another desire media format. like avi to flv file .
it is very interesting thing , taking a lot of time , but i got it .

for conversion i am using ffmpeg tool . and for playing flv files i am using JW player .
